Quick — QuickStart Guide

Set up Quick desktop with Outlook, Slack, local files, and AWSentral integrations.

Steps

  1. Download Quick Desktop
  2. Click quick-quickstart-csm.md — it will save to your Downloads folder. Then drag and drop it into a Quick chat. Then say:
    Execute the attached starter guide
    Quick will read the file and walk you through the full setup — connecting Outlook, Slack, AWSentral, and local folders. Just follow its prompts.
What each step accomplishes
1Installs Quick for desktop, providing greater integrations to resources running locally and via MCP 2Quick reads the starter guide and automatically configures integrations (Outlook, Slack, AWSentral, local files, Graph database) and installs Builder Toolbox. You just answer its questions.
Notes:
  • When you have questions or run into errors, ask Quick for help
  • You will interact with Terminal (Mac) or CMD (Windows) during this process. When you run into issues, copy the output or errors into Quick and ask it for guidance

Kiro Powers

Install Kiro Powers on your laptop — steering powers, MCP servers, skills, and hooks for SA, CSM, AM, and DG roles.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Download Kiro IDE
  2. Click Kiro-Powers-CSM.md — it will save to your Downloads folder. Then drag and drop it into a Kiro chat. Then say:
    Execute the attached setup file
    Kiro will read the file and install MCP servers, steering powers, and hooks. Follow its prompts to conclusion.
Note: You may run into issues during the install. Use Kiro Chat and your terminal to debug — that's expected and part of the process.

Next Steps (after install completes)

  1. Restart Kiro — Cmd+Shift+P (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows) → Reload Window
